This daylily boast some of the most threateningly thick knobby projections to be found on a flower. Add in a few thick fang like edge projections and you have a truly menacing looking flower, The light purple-burgandy eye appears to have neither color dominating as though it were bloodshot from swimming in dirty water like that frequented by gators. The beige-pink base provides a suitable background for the green to yellow gold throat and the bloodshot and gold double edge. The thick bone crushing yellow gold knobs and tentacles that lie outside of the fluted inner light burgandy edge give this flower the appearance that it could compete with a gator and might win. Pod and pollen fertile.
