If you like intensely colored flowers, this daylily is for you. The striking dark purple base has even darker colored veins that course through the petals and terminate in the heavily flutted and ruffled gold edge . A light purple watermark surrounds a green to yellow-gold transitioning throat and the deeply ruffled gold edge lies outside a light purple inner band. The sepals are also surrounded by a small yellow gold edge. The drastic contrast between the bright gold edge and the deep purple base allow this flower to be a true standout n the garden. Pod and pollen fertile.
