Van Gogh would have loved to paint an impression of this flower. The milk glass overlaying the yellow-amber base gives this daylily an overall color that is reminiscent of Van Gogh's style while remaining distinctly featured. The light pink eye carries well out into the ruffled, crimped, and fluted edge and is surrounded by a distinct gold thick wire edge. Closer inspection shows that the green and yellow throat shows unique patching and mixing of the two colors rather than the normal fade from green to yellow. Crimping of the petal right before the pink edge adds a third dimension to the flower. This flower is truly a living masterpiece. Pod and pollen fertile.
