This very deep velvet burgundy flower was a favorite of people who visited our garden. With it's pale eyezone and gold edge on petals and sepals over a green to gold throat, it really stood out amongst the other daylilies. It's darker purple veining on the petals just added more eye appealing pleasure. If your heart's desire is the dark colored daylilies, this is a must for you. If you like the paler colored flowers, this is the one to have for that contrast you are looking for. Pod and pollen fertile.
